Regional & Para Winter Championship Competitor Information

COMPETITOR INFORMATION FOR MYERSCOUGH REGIONALS AND PARA CHAMPIONSHIPS

Times

Times will go live on February 15th @ 11am, they can be found on the college website  on the Equine Events page highlighted in the horse monkey box under the date the 18TH FEB ( for regional competitors)  and under the 21ST FEB ( for para competitors) 

.

 

Directions

Leave M6 at Junction 32 travelling north or Junction 33 travelling south.

The college is off the A6 at Bilsborrow and is clearly signposted. Turn by the side of Guys Eating Establishment. Use the second entrance into the college signed ‘PLANTWORLD’.

 

 Vaccination Information

 

Those competing and stabling need to have a fully up to date vaccination certificate for flu in-date for the last 12 months

 

As a venue we will not be implementing the 6month booster rule when checking passports ( we do feel that most horse owners will be following the advice outlined by the BEF as good health practice for their equine friends and if this can be done within the 7 day rule we are obviously advising it)

There will be no exceptions ! No photocopies no photos on iPhones !

Everyone physically needs their passports in their hands ! ( you shouldn’t be travelling with out it anyway ). Or you will be turned away from competing or stabling .

 

General Information

Secretary is located in the reception area of the international arena , stable manger will be situated at the rear of the international arena building opposite the temporary stables EVERYONE stabling must produce their horses passports before unloading . ALL other competitors must produce there passports to the secretary on arrival   The café and toilets are located up the corridor from the reception opposite the café entrance. Dressage Sheets and Score boards can be found in the reception. Any first aid required please report to equine reception.

 

Music

Anyone competing in a FSM classes please bring your music to the secretaries office at your earliest convenience  so we can then test it.  music can be supplied on a CD along with a back up or we can also play music from iPhone,ipad

Parking

All wagon parking is to the rear on the International Arena building, Hook up must have been pre booked. Please do not park against the building blocking a hook up if you have not booked with your entry.

 

Stabling

All competitors who have booked stabling please see the stable manager when you arrive (they will be situated in the class room to the rear of the International arena building opposite the stables  ) Stabling runs from 4pm to 4pm if you arrive early there is no guarantee you will be able to access stables so please bare this in mind. If arriving late stable numbers will be displayed on the white  board along with an emergency phone number . Stables will be provided empty. A £20 deposit per stable will be taken which will be returned when the stables are vacated and EMPTY . Ensure all muck is placed on the allocated muck heap.

ALL STABLES must be completely EMPTIED at the end of each horses  stay no exceptions will be made Bio security is paramount once checked by the stable manager deposits will be returned.

All dogs must be kept on leads at all times ,any causing a nuisance will be asked to leave

NO SMOKING IN THE STABLE AREA OR ARENA BUILDING

 

Regional Prize Giving’s

 

Prize giving times will be displayed on the score boards outside the secretary’s office

All prize giving’s for the regional classes are mounted and include top 10 placings , it is the responsibility of the riders to be on time for the prize giving’s , time is very limited and we will not wait for people .

If you are not attending the prize giving please inform the secretary .

 

Para Prize Giving’s

Prize giving times will be displayed on the score boards outside the secretary’s office

All prize giving’s for the para competitors are unmounted and will take place in the main arena all competitors are invited to attend , it is the responsibility of the riders to be on time for the prize giving’s , time is very limited and we will not wait for people .If you are not attending the prize giving please inform the secretary .

If any para riders would like to have phots with their horse then please speak to the secretary and this can be arranged with the onsite photographer

 

Arena Walks

All arena walks must be mounted and two bridle or saddlecloths numbers must be worn or you will not be allowed in. Arena walks take place around the outside of the arena and not inside the boards and are WALK only
