Teacher Training Lecturer 0.8 (Maternity Cover) - based at Preston Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Initial Teacher Training department at Myerscough College for a 1-year maternity cover. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the team at Myerscough College. You will be required to inspire and motivate trainee teaching staff to ensure all learners reach their full potential.  You will develop new engaging and innovative methods of teaching, have a proven track record of outstanding teaching practice, and demonstrate a passion for developing your own and others’ teaching practice. 

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject. A teaching qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed or equivalent, teaching experience with evidence of consistent high success rates with learners and GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.

The role is 29.6 hours per week 

The salary range is £20,657 - £29,880 per annum, pro rata, relating to qualifications and experience.
