About the role

Apply today to join our Greenspace & Creative Studies Team as a Sports Surface Maintenance Technician.

As a Technician, you will assist in the maintenance of Myerscough College’s extensive sports surface facility, including the golf course, rugby and football pitches and 4G pitch.

Some of your duties will include:

  • A range of mowing including rugby, football and golf sports surfaces
  • Scarifying/grooming/verti-cutting turf
  • Aerating turf
  • Applying fertiliser/turf conditioner
  • Applying top dressing
  • Marking sports surface facilities
  • Preparing sports pitches for commercial and curriculum usage
  • Repairing divots
  • Irrigating turf
