Specialist Adult Skills Tutor in Animal Care - based at Croxteth Park Campus, Liverpool

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Animal Studies Team as a Specialist Adult Skills Tutor in Animal Care

In this role you will develop teaching materials and deliver high quality industry training in City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Pet Sitting and City and Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Dog Walking.

As a Specialist Tutor, you will drive forward the development of Short Courses for adult learners within Liverpool City Region. 

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in a related industry qualification, a teaching qualification CET’P, PTTLLS or equivalent, TAQA Level 3 Assessor qualification / or relevant sector body Assessment Qualification or willing to work towards these in a given time period alongside GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths

The role is 37 hours per week. 

The salary range is £20,907 - £30,179 per annum, in accordance with qualifications and experience.  Teacher qualified staff commence at minimum £24,345 per annum, relating to qualifications and experience.
