Security Officer (Estates) – 2 posts - based at Preston Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Estates Team as a Security Officer.
As a Security officer you will be responsible for matters relating to the safety and welfare of students, staff and visitors; the security of College buildings and other property on and off campus; the protection of personal property of students, staff and visitors; the control of traffic and parking; assisting with the general functions of the Estates department.
The successful candidate will have SIA Licence – Security Guarding or willing to work towards in a given agreed time scale, evidence of attainment of sound educational background, a full driving licence and GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and desirably Maths as well. The role is a Shift pattern of 12.5 hours, 4 on 4 off, 4 on 8 off, alternating between days and nights every 8 shifts.
The salary is £19,934 per annum
