Residential Support Officer- Fixed term for 6 months - based at Preston Campus

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Residential Support Team at Myerscough College, Bilsborrow at our Preston Campus.

We are proud of the support we provide for our students who reside in our Halls of Residence during their studies and welcome you to join our team if you are person centred and have the skills and abilities to support students whilst in Halls many of whom have left home for the first time aged 16.

You will be a team member of Residential Support Team that ensures that all residential students have access to and receive appropriate safeguarding and support, have the opportunity to succeed in their studies, develop their personal development and fully participate in the broader student experience.

You would be a pivotal role in providing direct care and support to all residential students, promoting and delivering a range of interventions and activities and provide a focussed support programme for an identified caseload of students and Residential Halls.

The role is 37 hours per week, 39 weeks Term time only. Fixed term for 6 months.

Rota system over 7 days, working a range of shifts between 8.30 and 1.00am

The salary is £17,210 to 20,907 per annum, pro rata relating to qualifications and experience.
