Practical Lecturer Land Based Agricultural Engineering
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Practical Lecturer to join the Agricultural Engineering department at Myerscough College. The role will involve teaching practical subjects as well as preparing and maintaining workshop resources, tractors and equipment to a high standard ensuring full compliance of health and safety requirements.
The successful candidate must have a Level 3 qualification in a related discipline, a Teaching qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed (or equivalent) or willing to work towards within agreed time period along with GCSE, (or equivalent), at Grade C or above in English and maths. Relevant industry experience is also essential.

Non-teacher qualified applicants may be able to access an enhanced support package through the Taking Teaching Further scheme which includes a reduced timetable, work shadowing/ mentoring, and support with the costs of the teaching qualification.
Salary: £18,508 - £26,410 per annum (Teacher qualified commence at £20,657) relating to qualifications and experience
