We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Practical Lecturer to join the Motorsport department at Myerscough College.
As a Practical Lecturer in Motorsport you will be involved in teaching practical subjects eg. Chassis Systems, Steering, Brakes, Suspension and Transmissions as well as preparing relevant workshop resources and assessing students on various modules on the Motorsport courses.
You will need a Level 3 qualification in a related subject and significant industry experience, a Teaching qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed (or equivalent) is desirable or willing to work towards a teaching qualification within agreed time period, along with GCSE, (or equivalent), at Grade C /4 or above in English and Maths.
Non-teacher qualified applicants may be able to access an enhanced support package through the Taking Teaching Further scheme which includes a reduced timetable, work shadowing/ mentoring, and support with the costs of the teaching qualification.
