Practical Lecturer in Horticulture

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Horticulture team at our Croxteth Park Campus in Liverpool. Our horticulture programmes are delivered to full time 16-18 students on site, part time adults on site and in community settings across Liverpool City Region to adults.
The successful candidate will be required to teach a range of Horticulture practical qualifications and theory modules across a range of Horticulture programmes, depending on their qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Horticulture as well as GCSE or equivalent in Maths & English at Grade C or above. In addition, a teaching qualification is essential or you must be willing to work towards this within an agreed timescale. Funding to support the cost of the teaching qualification is available to those eligible via the Taking Teaching Further initiative.

The hours per week are 37 hours
The salary range is £18,758 - £26,674 per annum, relating to qualifications and experience. Teacher qualified commence at £20,907 per annum.
