Practical Lecturer in Arboriculture based at Preston Campus

 Do you hold a Level 3 FE Arboriculture qualification and would you like to be part of a team that helps shape a great learning experience for students? 

Predominantly, the role of a Practical Lecturer involves practical teaching but can also include classroom sessions.

Manage learners to succeed, to deliver high quality and effective Practical and theory teaching, learning and assessment.

Quality Assurance of all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment. Promote and adopt an innovative and collaborative approach for the planning and practical delivery of lessons and assessments

Prepare and maintain resources to expected standards, Support safe and effective utilisation of internal and external specialist resources. Participate in College promotional events.

Attend meetings as identified by Line Manager. Undertake continuing professional development in order to meet College and learning area objectives.

Non-teacher qualified applicants may be able to access an enhanced support package through the Taking Teaching Further scheme which includes a reduced timetable, work shadowing/mentoring, and support with the costs of the teaching qualification.
