We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Practical Lecturer to join the Arboriculture team at our Croxteth Park Campus, Liverpool.  We are seeking to recruit an arborist who has good practical skills and is looking for a change of direction in their career.  No previous teaching experience is required.

 

As a Practical Lecturer in Arboriculture, you will be involved in teaching a range of arboriculture practical qualifications and theory modules across a range of arboriculture programmes, depending on qualifications and experience.

 

You will need a Level 3 qualification, or equivalent qualification in arboriculture, a range of NPTC qualifications and a teaching qualification is essential or you must be willing to work towards this within an agreed timescale, along with GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.

 

Non-teacher qualified applicants may be able to access an enhanced support package through the Taking Teaching Further Scheme which includes a reduced timetable, work shadowing/mentoring and support with the costs of the teaching qualification.

The role is 37 hours per week (or job share) and the salary range is £18,508 - £26,410 per annum (pro rata if appropriate) - relating to qualifications and experience.
