Practical Lecturer in Animal Studies 0.5 - based at Preston

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Animal Studies Team as a Practical Lecturer in Animal Studies.

As a Practical Lecturer in Animal Care, you will predominantly be involved in practical teaching with some classroom sessions to enable learners to succeed.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 Further Education qualification, a teaching qualification or willingness to undertake this and GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.  You will also have significant industry experience post-qualification working with animal collections relating to a range of small / zoo / exotic animals or farm livestock.

The role is 18.5 hours per week  

The salary range is £19,241 – £23,201 per annum, pro rata, relating to qualifications and experience.
