Part Time Hourly Paid Lecturer in Farriery 0.2 - based at Preston Campus

Myerscough School of Farriery Science is looking to recruit a dynamic Farriery Lecturer to join our team. The farrier lecturer will be responsible for helping with the shoeing, care and appropriate treatment of the College equine and Lancashire Constabulary stock as required. The member of staff will also have responsibility for the development, management, assessment and delivery of traditional and online farriery courses situated within the Myerscough course programme area as required.
It is essential that you are a qualified Farrier registered with the FRC with considerable practical / industry experience as well a teaching qualification and experience working with access to Farriery / Forgework and apprentice farriers and have a good working knowledge of the Farriery training Scheme. GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths are essential.

£21.04 per hour for qualified Farriers without higher qualifications
£23.09 per hour for qualified Farriers with higher qualifications
