Maths Specialist Tutor- Fixed Term until 31.07.2022 based at Croxteth Park Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the General Education Team as a Specialist Maths Tutor as part of the Test & Learn initiative. It’s an opportunity to develop exciting and innovative resources to support the English curriculum and test their effectiveness with adult learners.
As a Specialist Maths Tutor, you will drive forward the development of the Maths curriculum for adult learners and promote engagement in Maths across Liverpool City Region, including at the Croxteth Park Centre and within local community venues.
You will periodically attend Functional Skills standardisation meetings and other continuing professional development events and actively participate in Functional Skills internal verification and quality assurance processes.
The successful candidate will have a Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area, a teaching qualification, experience of delivering GCSE / Functional Skills’ Maths.

The salary is £20,907 to £30,179 per annum relating to qualifications and experience
