Maths Specialist Tutor 0.6 (fixed term to 31 July 2021) - based at Liverpool campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the General Education Team as a Maths Specialist Tutor.

As a Maths Specialist Tutor, you will drive forward the development of the maths curriculum for adult learners within Liverpool city region and deliver intervention support in the form of small group tuition to Study Programme learners; working closely with the General Education Co-ordinator (Liverpool) and the Digital Skills Co‑ordinator.

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area, a teaching qualification, experience of delivery of GCSE / Functional Skills and GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.  It is desirable that the candidate has experience of working within community settings and internal verification experience/training.

The role is 22.2 hours per week. 

The salary range is £20,657 - £29,880 per annum, pro, per annum in accordance with qualifications and experience.  Teacher qualified staff commence at minimum £24,095 pro rata per annum, relating to qualifications and experience.
