Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Farriery 0.6 - based at Preston

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Veterinary Nursing and Farriery Team as a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Farriery.

In this role of Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Farriery you will provide effective delivery of farriery subject matter at FE and potentially HE level. You will also demonstrate, assist, teach and train a range of students in the forge towards Certificate in Forgework / Blacksmithing, Level 3 Farriery Apprenticeship, HE and higher awards.

It is essential the successful candidate is a qualified farrier registered with the FRC and has experience in the farriery industry, alongside a teaching qualification or willing to undertake and GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or an equivalent standard).

The role is 22.2 hours per week  

The salary is £23,202 – £35,640 per annum, pro rata relating to qualifications and experience
