Lecturer in Strength & Conditioning/Sport Higher Education 0.6 - based at Preston Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Sport’s Department as a Lecturer in Strength & Conditioning Higher Education
In this role you will deliver sport modules to students on courses in predominately Higher Education programmes as well as a module tutor for HE Strength and Conditioning and Sport courses and the delivery of Strength and Conditioning sessions to students within the sport academies.
The successful candidate will have a Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject at 2:2 or equivalent level, a NSCA qualification or equivalent, a Teaching qualification eg PGCE / Cert Ed or equivalent, or significant industry experience and willingness to work towards a teaching qualification within agreed time period alongside GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or an equivalent standard) and if you are interested in the role – please apply.

The role is 22.2 hours per week
The salary range is £19,241 - £31,379 per annum, pro rata, relating to qualifications and experience.
