Lecturer in Horticulture - based at Preston Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Greenspace and Creative Design Team as a Lecturer in Horticulture.

As a Lecturer in Horticulture you will deliver practical and academic subjects to students on all Horticulture courses including, IGA, Further and Higher Education day programmes. Undertaking course management and personal tutor duties, as required, plus supporting and participating in external industry events to enhance the learner experience.

The successful candidate will have a Degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject, a Teaching qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed or significant industry experience and willing to work towards a teaching qualification within agreed time period alongside GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths. The role is 37 hours per week

The salary range is £20,657 - £29,880 per annum, relating to qualifications and experience.
