Lecturer in Horticulture and Plant Science 0.4- based at Preston Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Greenspace and Creative Design Team as a Lecturer in Horticulture and Plant Science

As a Lecturer in Horticulture and Plant Science you will deliver inspirational teaching and learning on the Level 3 Horticulture pathway, teaching core subjects in relation to horticulture and plant sciences on the Further Education programmes and where required external clients.  This will be predominantly theoretical teaching.

The successful candidate will have a Degree in Horticulture or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. plant science, landscape or sportsturf, industry experience and a Teaching qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed or willing to work towards a teaching qualification within agreed time period along with GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C /4 or above in English and Maths.

The role is 14.8 hours per week. 

The salary range is £20,907 - £30,179 per annum, pro rata, relating to qualifications and experience.
