Lecturer in Floristry 0.8 Maternity Cover – based at Preston

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Greenspace and Creative Design Team as a Lecturer in Floristry

In this role you will deliver floristry modules to students on courses in further and higher education, including one evening per week (18.00- 20.30pm on Thursdays) plus Programme leader for the level 2 Diploma in Floristry

You will also support and participate in external industry events to enhance the learner experience and be involved in the promotion and development of all creative design at Myerscough College via marketing and delivery of taster sessions.

The successful candidate will have a Foundation Degree in a related subject, a Teaching qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed or significant industry experience or be willing to work towards a teaching qualification within agreed time period alongside GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.

The role is 29.6 hours per week on a temporary basis to cover Maternity leave

The salary is £19,241 - £31,379 per annum, pro rata, in accordance with qualifications and experience
