About the role

At Myerscough college, we are passionate about providing an amazing learning experience for our student and believe inspiring excellence starts with you!

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to join our Greenspace team as a Lecturer in Arboriculture.

In this role you will deliver Arboriculture related subjects to students aged 16 – 18 on Study Programmes and to Adult Learners seeking to either change career or enhance their career prospects, inspiring excellence and success along the way. We would love to hear from candidates who can demonstrate their relevant industry knowledge and have either teaching experience already or are willing to commit to training as a teacher.

The College is able to support new teachers financially and practically through the Taking Teaching Further (TTF) Project. This will pay for your tuition and allow you time on your timetable to focus on your studies.

This includes new classrooms, a purpose-built 4X4 vehicle, tracked chipper, electric chainsaws and associated equipment, stump grinder etc. There are opportunities for student practical work on the 500 acre estate.

£19,337 - £31,536 per annum in accordance with qualifications and experience. Teacher qualified staff commence at minimum £24,467 per annum
