Lecturer in Animal Studies – Further Education/Higher Education
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Animal Studies team at Myerscough College. You will be required to ensure high quality teaching and learning is delivered on a broad spectrum of topics within Animal Studies, predominantly on our Higher Education courses and with a focus on conservation although the role does also encompass some FE teaching also.
It is essential that you have a Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Animal Science/Behaviour/Welfare/Conservation, a Teaching qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed (or equivalent) or alternatively have significant industry experience and be willing to work towards a teaching qualification within an agreed time period. You will also need to have GCSE, (or equivalent), at Grade C/4 or above in English and maths.
Salary: £20,657 - £29,880 per annum, relating to qualifications and experience (minimum starting salary for qualified Lecturers is £24,095 per annum).
