Lecturer in Animal Studies - based at Preston Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Animal Studies Team as a Lecturer in Animal Studies FE.

As a Lecturer in Animal Studies you will be responsible for delivery of Animal Studies management and care – giving practical and underpinning knowledge content of the Animal Studies courses to students within Further Education. You will work within the Animal Studies team to provide an inspirational learning environment that helps all learners reach their full potential

The successful candidate will have  a Honours degree in Animal Welfare / Behaviour / Management or closely related field, a Teaching Qualification with evidence of high quality and innovative/outstanding teaching and high success rates with learners or willing to undertake within agreed time period or significant industry experience with a range of companion/zoo/exotic animal species alongside GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths and and if you are interested in the role – please apply.

The role is 37 hours per week

The salary range is £20,657 - £29,880 per annum, relating to qualifications and experience.
