An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Animal Studies Team at the Croxteth Park Campus as a Lecturer in Animal Studies.
As a Lecturer in Animal Studies you will be responsible for delivery of Animal Studies management and care – giving both practical and underpinning knowledge content of the Animal Studies courses to students within Further Education. You will work within the Animal Studies team to provide an inspirational learning environment that helps all learners reach their full potential
The successful candidate will have an Honours degree in Animal Welfare / Behaviour / Management, a Teaching Qualification with evidence of high quality and innovative/outstanding teaching and high success rates with learners or willing to undertake within agreed time period or significant industry experience with a range of companion/zoo/exotic animal species alongside GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.

The role is 22.2 hours per week
The salary range is £19,241 - £31,379 per annum, pro rata, relating to qualifications and experience.
