Lecturer in Agriculture - Penrith based
We are excited to see an opportunity to work with us to support and deliver the land-based curriculum in Cumbria, as part of the innovative and collaborative development in the land-based subject of Agriculture & Countryside, based in Penrith on the site of our partners, Ullswater Community College (UCC).
As a Lecturer in Agriculture you will deliver agriculture and countryside subjects to FE students and be responsible for the day to day management and leadership of a designated FE Agricultural course. As well as undertaking course management and personal tutor duties, as required, you will be supporting and participating in external industry events to enhance the learner experience.
The successful candidate will have a Degree or equivalent qualification in a related subject, a Teaching qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed and consistent lesson observations and high success rates with learners or significant industry experience and willing to work towards a teaching qualification within agreed time period alongside GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.

The salary range is £20,907 - £30,179 per annum relating to qualifications and experience
