Instructor in Arboriculture 0.6 - Penrith based

We are excited to see an opportunity to work with us to support and deliver the land-based curriculum in Cumbria, as part of the innovative and collaborative development in the land-based subject of Arboriculture, based in Penrith on the site of our partners, Ullswater Community College (UCC).

As an Instructor in Arboriculture you will undertake practical delivery and assessments to enable learners to succeed.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 FE Arboriculture qualification and

NPTC qualifications in

• Chainsaw,
• Tree Climbing and Arial rescue
• Tree felling up to 380mm

Significant post qualification industry experience, a Preparatory Certificate in Education and Training (formally PTLLS) or Assessor Training Assessment Quality Assurance alongside GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.

The salary range is £17,210 - £20,907 per annum, pro rata, relating to qualifications and experience.
