We have a great opportunity for someone to join the Animal Studies Department at Myerscough College.
As an Instructor in Animal Studies, you will undertake practical delivery and assessment to enable learners to succeed, assess students practical skills and support and develop learners using College resources for work experience. You will also promote and maintain high standards of care, health & welfare for all the animals in the Animal Studies Centre.
If you have a Level 3 (FE) Animal Management qualification, GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths, along with significant industrial experience in working with animal collections is essential. The Preparatory Certificate in Education and Training (formally PTTLS) or Assessor Training Quality Assurance (TAQA) or a willingness to undertake within an agreed time period is also essential for the role. The role is 37 hours per week.
The salary range is £16,960 to £20,657 per annum, relating to qualifications and experience
