Inclusive Learning Specialist SEND Tutor / Exam Arrangement Assessor

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Inclusive Learning Team as an Inclusive Learning Specialist SEND Tutor/ Examination Arrangement Assessor.

As an Inclusive Learning Specialist SEND Tutor/ Examination Arrangement Assessor you will provide specialist 1-1 support sessions for FE and HE learners for students with learning difficulties and disabilities, those with special educational needs and disabilities, those with literacy / numeracy needs and those in receipt of High Needs Funding. You will also complete examination access arrangement assessments (EAA’s) across all college campuses.

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in FE sector, a Degree qualification (Level 6), CCET or equivalent plus the EAA additional module (Certificate of Competence in Educational Testing), Level 6 or above qualifications in SpLD or Autism. You will also need experience of carrying out diagnostic assessments and writing exam access arrangement reports and proven knowledge of JCQ guidelines and other relevant external examining agencies alongside GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.
