Head of Greenspace - based at Preston Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join for a dynamic and imaginative Head of Area in Greenspace provision.
The department is large with a range of programmes in 14-16 provision, Further Education Study Programmes, Higher Education degrees up to Masters level in a range of Greenspace subjects, Horticulture, Landscape, Sportsturf, Floristry and Photography. The department also delivers several on line courses to students across the world. The post holder is also one of several cross centre “Academic leads” who has responsibility for ensuring all Myerscough College centres operate to the highest quality in curriculum development and delivery.
You will be a proven leader and manager of a large College based department, who is dynamic, innovative and committed to high achievement and quality management.
The successful candidate will have a Degree in a related subject, a Teaching qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed, experience in Greenspace industries and experience in the Further and Higher Educational sector alongside GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths. The salary range is £34,607 - £46,455 per annum relating to qualifications and experience
