Finance Officer – Maternity Cover - based at Preston Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Team as a Finance Officer.

As a Finance Officer you will be responsible for the processing of timely accurate data to ensure the College has information for effective financial control and produce accurate analysis and reconciliations to aid budget holders and management in decision making and payment liabilities. You will ensure the financial information on the College’s intranet systems is accurate and up to date. Working with Myerscough College Student Union you will process and provide financial information to support for their activities.

The successful candidate will have 5 GCSEs to include English and Maths at Grade C/4 or equivalent, and desirably an AAT qualification and Finance office experience.

The salary is £16,960 - £20,657 pro rata, per annum, relating to qualifications and experience
