The Commercial Services area at Myerscough College has undergone a positive restructure which has resulted in growth. A number of vacancies are available and we would love you to be part of this new and exciting team at a time where we are looking at fresh ideas, creativity, and a desire to improve and build on an already brilliant team.

About the role

This is a really exciting role within Commercial Services as we seek to grow our conference and events business. The type of business could range from a birthday party in our on-campus bar through to week long residential events. You will be confident enough to seek out new business, as well as be incredibly customer focused. As a single point of contact for the customer you will work with all the departments across Commercial Services to bring together all the aspects of the customers’ requirements.

Although you will be bringing in business for all areas of Commercial Services (for example, accommodation, catering, etc.), you will have specific responsibility for The Stumble Inn (Preston campus bar). You may have previous experience in a similar role but you may also have hospitality experience with transferable skills. Most importantly, you will have a genuine passion and enthusiasm that helps encourage and develop your team as well as those around you.
