Assistant Head of Farriery - based at Preston Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Veterinary Nursing and Farriery Team as an Assistant Head of Farriery.
As the Assistant Head of Farriery, you will form part of the management team, which aims to maximise success and ensure an effective contribution to strategic plan targets. You work closely with the Head of Veterinary Nursing & Farriery to promote a positive team spirit within the whole team and an inspirational teaching, learning and assessment experience for all learners.
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Farrier on the FRC register, have a Teaching qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed or equivalent or be willing to undertake in an agreed timescale, teaching and assessment experience, competent in ICT as well as GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.

The salary range is £31,380 - £35,640 per annum relating to qualifications and experience
