Assistant Head of Centre - based at our Warrington Campus.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Team at Warrington as an Assistant Head of Centre. The successful candidate will be an Animal Studies specialist. Initially this post will be offered on a fixed term contract with the opportunity for the post to become permanent being dependent on future student recruitment.

In this role you will form part of the management team, which aims to maximise success and ensure an effective contribution to the College Strategic Plan and associated targets. You will work closely with the Assistant Principal - Liverpool and Partnerships to promote a positive team spirit within the whole Warrington Centre; providing an inspirational teaching, learning and assessment experience for all learners.

The successful candidate will have a Degree or equivalent in Animal Studies or a related discipline, a Teaching qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed with evidence of consistent high-quality lesson observations and successful teaching, training and / or coaching experience, competent in ICT alongside GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths. The role is 37 hours per week on a fixed term basis until 31.07.2022

The salary range is £27,846 - £35,640 per annum relating to qualifications and experience
