Assistant Head of Animal Studies – Fixed term - based at Croxteth Campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Animal Studies Team at Croxteth as an Assistant Head of Animal Studies.
As an Assistant Head of Animal Studies, you will report to the Assistant Principal - Liverpool and Partnerships forming part of the management team, which aims to maximise success and ensure an effective contribution to strategic plan targets. You will work closely with the Assistant Principal Liverpool and Partnerships and the Assistant Head of Centre to promote a positive team spirit within the Croxteth Animal Studies team and to promote an inspirational teaching, learning and assessment experience for all learners., managing student positive behaviour and carrying out interventions; including disciplinary matters as required.
The successful candidate will have a Degree in Animal Studies, a Teaching qualification e.g. PGCE / Cert Ed with evidence of consistent high-quality lesson observations and successful teaching, training and / or coaching experience, competent in ICT alongside GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.

The role is 37 hours per week. – on a fixed term basis until 31 July 2022.
The salary banding is £31,380 - £35,640 per annum, pro rata in accordance with qualifications and experience.
