An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Assistant Head of Apprenticeship and Skills.
The successful candidate will join a forward thinking and dynamic management team to drive forward apprenticeship growth in the College. The candidate needs to be an excellent manager or have the potential to be an excellent manager, ensuring effective programme management and the delivery of inspirational teaching, learning and assessment to meet the expectations of industry. This position will line manage a number of Work-based tutors across four land-based schemes with a clear focus on widening the college offer and increasing growth.
The successful candidate will have a Level 5 (Equivalent) or higher qualification, PTTLS / PCET qualification, a PGCE / Cert Ed. Teaching Qualification or willing to work towards within set timeframe as well as a good understanding of current Apprenticeship Standards and funding rules and a proven track record in delivering staff CPD, designing and delivering learning programmes and using data to performance manage alongside GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or an equivalent standard).
