Assistant Farm Manager

Myerscough College is seeking a committed, skilled and ambitious Assistant Farm Manager to join the farm team. The farming business comprises several enterprises including Dairy, Sheep, Beef and Arable operations, all of which are utilised for teaching and learner engagement with a commercial focus.

The Assistant Farm Manager will be required to communicate accurately, work to agreed targets and assist with the day to day management of the farming estate.  In addition, you will undertake tasks allocated in a responsible, effective and efficient manner and will be involved in, all aspects of farm operations including student experience.

The successful candidate must have a Foundation Degree in Agriculture or directly relevant discipline and / or equivalent practical experience along with practical farming experience.

Salary in the region of £30,000 to £34,000 minimum salary will be 90% of £30,000 with an agreed progression to maximum based on mile stones. Inclusive of overtime, based on a average of 50 hrs per week. To include alternate weekends.
