Animal Centre Technician – Witton Park, Blackburn - 39 hours per week, will include weekend/bank holiday work on a rota basis

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Animal Studies team at Myerscough College, Witton Park. As the Animal Centre Technician you will be required to lead in the day to day maintenance / running of the animal unit, under direction of the Assistant Head. You will need to be pro- active in the management and maintenance of high welfare and care standards and have a duty of care for all animals on the Animal Unit. The role will involve working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

A Level 3 FE Animal Management qualification (or a related discipline), significant industrial experience in working with a range of animal species are essential, along with GCSE English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent standard).

Salary: £15,796 - £17,765 per annum relating to qualifications and experience
