Adult Skills Tutor – Pesticide Application and Horticultural Machinery Specialist (fixed term to 31 July 2021) – based at Liverpool campus

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Greenspace Team as an Adult Skills Tutor.

As an Adult Skills Tutor, you will deliver high quality industry training and arrange assessments following the delivery of training in the following:

• FEPA Pesticide Application (PA1, PA2, PA6a)
• Horticultural Machinery Operations (including pedestrian / ride-on mowers, rotavators, hedge-trimmers, strimmers etc)

The successful candidate will have a related industry qualification at Level 3 or above, FEPA Pesticide Application Certificate and GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths. The candidate should also have or be willing to work towards a teaching / or assessor qualification / or relevant sector body assessment qualification and a first aid certificate.

The role is 37 hours per week.  Requests for part-time working / job share will be considered.

The salary range is £20,657 - £29,880 pro rata per annum in accordance with qualifications and experience.  Teacher qualified staff commence at minimum £24,095 pro rata per annum, relating to qualifications and experience.
