About the role

This is the lead role in our Accommodation department, looking after 26 halls of residence as well as the residential accommodation within the wider Myerscough property portfolio. Organisation, attention to detail, quick decision making, and the ability to lead and manage a team are key. Your accommodation team will consist of an assistant, an accommodation officer, and 3 maintenance officers, but you will lead the operation ensuring the most efficient and customer friendly processes are in place and followed.

Based on the Preston campus for Myerscough College, you will have estates, facilities and/or accommodation management experience, along with genuine passion and enthusiasm that helps encourage and develop your team as well as those around you. Some contract management experience would be beneficial but not essential.

You will also form an integral part of the Commercial Services department, where you will work with others across the service in all aspects of our operation. Accommodating our students is a major part of what we do, but we also offer conferences and events on a residential basis.
