The successful candidate will co-ordinate and develop the curriculum development and pastoral support for our 200+ Part Time Key Stage 4 School and Home Educated learners based across 4 North West Delivery sites whilst being based at our Preston site.
Predominantly the role will be to develop and monitor the cross College 14-16 offer whilst supporting curriculum colleagues in recruiting and retaining students as well as maximising success. The College runs vocational programme for school and home educated learners and English, Maths and Science programmes for home educated Learners.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to re-engage young learners with education and support them into positive progression routes. This can be life changing for young people who have struggled with traditional education and were at real risk of becoming NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) at post 16.
There is an opportunity to work from home during student holiday periods and on days where there are no pre-16 students accessing provision. This depends on provision however some weeks may be 2 days per week working from home.
