Residency

At Myerscough College, all students have the opportunity to live in while they study. We have halls of residence for under 18s and over 18s and provide excellent facilities as well as a safe and secure environment for everybody.

At Myerscough, we guarantee a room for all first year students.

Ofsted 'Outstanding'

Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills) carry out regular inspections of residential provision of further education colleges to judge the overall experiences and progress of young people (under 18s) in a residential setting.  The College has been inspected on 4 separate occasions since inspections were introduced, firstly by the National Care Standards Commission then Ofsted and has been awarded ‘Outstanding’ each time.  The College is very proud to uphold the ‘outstanding’ grade.  In the last Ofsted inspection in 2014, the inspectors found that there were substantial strengths in the quality of provision and care for learners that make an exceptional impact on the quality of students' lives and promote opportunities for all to succeed in life.  They also found that young people and young adults benefit highly from living on site.
