The BIGGA Turf Management Exhibition (BTME) will see thousands of visitors attend Europe's leading exhibition for turf professionals and buyers, with education, the Turf Managers' Conference, exhibitors showcasing the latest products and innovations plus a host of networking opportunities.

At the event expert staff at the Myerscough College stand will be on hand for prospective students and partner employers to find out more about our range of sportsturf courses and apprenticeships the college can offer. This includes the opportunity to find out more about the new Level 2 ‘trailblazer’ standard apprenticeship. Recently a Myerscough College learner became the first trainee greenkeeper in the UK to be enrolled onto this new standard.

The new apprenticeship standard includes an assessment plan produced by ‘trailblazers’, who are employer-led groups developing the standards, to make the learner truly industry ready at the end of their training. Myerscough College is the first training organization to use the new standard in greenkeeping.

In addition, there’ll be the opportunity to discuss study programme options in sportsturf at both further and higher education level, including Myerscough’s new masters degree courses.

The BTME exhibition takes place from Tuesday 17th to Thursday 19th January, at the Harrogate International Centre, King's Road, Harrogate, HG1 5LA.

Myerscough College sportsturf students are given a range of special opportunities to further their careers in the industry, both during and after their course. Our range of specialist sportsturf and horticultural provision is second to none.

We are also currently the largest provider of work-based training and apprenticeships within the sportsturf and amenity sector providing national coverage to employers of all sizes.
