Events and Open Mornings

Myerscough College hosts and attends several different events throughout the country. These include our regular Saturday Open Mornings which are held on a monthly basis as well as several other events, fairs and conventions relating to our subject areas and our students. These provide a great opportunity to speak to staff and tutors about life at Myerscough and find out more about the wide range of courses we have to offer. Here is a list of the events that we will be running and attending over the next few months!

March 2010

Spring Lambing Weekend

Saturday 13 March - Sunday 14 March , 10:30am - 3:00pm , Myerscough College, Lee Farm, Moss Lane, Bilsborrow, Preston, Lancashire PR3 0RU. Enjoy a fantastic day out at our-ever popular lambing weekends. Watch the shepherd at work and see the new born lambs. Children's activities will also be taking place in the barn all day so come along and join in the fun on the farm. Admission is £2.50 per adult and £1 per child (Under 5's free) including refreshments. Please check the website in the weeks prior to the event to confirm the dates. ..more

At the Exeter Higher Ed. Convention

Monday 15 March - Tuesday 16 March , 9:15am - 3:00pm , Westpoint Arena Exeter Devon EX5 1DJ. This is the largest HE Convention to take place in the South West and is organised in conjunction with the University of Exeter, Connexions Devon & Cornwall in association with HELOA. It is expected that approximately 140 Higher Education institutions and professional organisations will be represented at the event and over 9000 students will visit the convention. ..more

Mad Science at Myerscough College

WorldSkills UK Floral Design Competition
