Myerscough College has a long tradition of working with schools, demonstrating the rewarding careers within the land-based and sports sectors. More recently the College has extended its provision to include specific vocational courses for Year 10 and 11 pupils either at our main site in Preston or at one of our other North-West centres of learning.
Our 14-16 courses provide more practical alternatives to GCSEs for many students. They still work at school for most of the week towards their GCSEs but attend Myerscough one day each week, working towards a different, practical qualification. The courses are alternatives to GCSEs so still allow progression onto A Levels or a Full time Further Education course at Myerscough and other colleges. Further information for schools and for parents and student is in the pdf documents below. For subjects available and venues please scroll down the page.
