About the Course

This is jewellery making with a twist! Come and enjoy making colour patterns
and surface texture with anodised aluminium to your own designs and turn them
into beautiful jewellery for yourself, your friends or for that special occasion.

You will be introduced to creating colour patterns onto treated aluminium using a
special palette of inks and dyes. From these coloured sheets of metal you will be
able to make jewellery using techniques and processes including forming,
hammering, riveting and many more processes.

NB: An appreciation of colour patterns and colour mixing is ideal, but is not
essential, as you will be given information towards this during the course.
You will also be able to include other materials such as silver, nylon, leather,
beads etc to compliment your aluminium jewellery. Aluminium and all the
colouring equipment will be provided. Silver accessories can be purchased from
the course tutor.

Come and see what you can make!
