About the Course

This is a one day course intended for those with an interest in Floral Design. You will learn how to create some beautiful gifts that could be adapted for a variety of occasions. Designs created on the day include a beautiful gift wrapped textured hand tied posy, a contemporary vase arrangement and a table centre suitable for a dinner party.



The tutor will demonstrate each design and guide you through the construction method. Information and guidance will also be provided for the flowers, foliage and sundry materials to bring with you to the session.

Special Requirements

Please note that the each student is expected to provide their own materials for this course but will take home made items. The costs are expected to be in the region of £30 - £35 for 1 day courses. A materials list will be sent out with the joining instruction 7- 10 days prior to the course start. It is advisable that you also bring with you the following tools: Scissors, Knife, String, Pot Tape, Selection of wires and a notepad and Pen. Please note it is quite acceptable to bring a digital camera along to take photographs of yours and the tutors final pieces.

Special Education Needs and Disability - Short Courses

Prospective students who have a disability that may affect their studies should inform the College as soon as possible. Regrettably the College does not receive funding for the provision of learning support for students with additional learning needs attending Short Courses, which are run on a full-cost basis.
